I was introduced to this poem by a dear teacher of mine - a person who walks her talk and strives to be a more loving person every day. I started working on the melody and brought it to Lori Mechem, a brilliant piano player and composer. This was a couple of years ago.
What you hear in this recording is an impromptu session, no overdubs, no punches, just one clean take of the band from beginning to end. A brilliant musical conversation masterfully captured in "ones and zeros."
Our intention was to create a piece of music that you can relax with, contemplate and explore. I hear this song as a prayer, a way to help connect with God, a way to remember the serenity of life. Peace begins in ourselves, so please use this music to help you remember who you really are.
Thank you for downloading the song!

From the point of light within the mind of God,
Let light stream forth into the minds of men,
Let Light return to earth.
From the point of Love within the heart of God,
Let love stream forth into the hearts of men,
Let love return to earth.
From the center where the will of God is known,
Let purpose guide the little wills of men,
The purpose which the masters know and serve.
From the center which we call the race of men
Let love and light work out their plan within
Let peace return to earth.
Let love and light and power restore the plan on earth.
