I was introduced to this poem by a dear teacher of mine - a person who walks her talk and strives to be a more loving person every day. She loves these words, and shared them with me. I started working on the melody and brought it to Lori Mechem, a brilliant piano player and composer. This was a couple of years ago.

The recording you hear here was produced by my husband Jerry. One morning I woke him up saying, "I want to start recording meditation music," and in that same day he made it happen. What you hear is an impromptu session, no overdubs, no punches, just one clean take of the band from beginning to end. This track is a brilliant musical conversation masterfully captured in "ones and zeros."

Our intention was to create a piece of music that you can relax with, contemplate and explore. I hear this song as a prayer, a way to help connect with a source higher than myself, and a way to remember the beauty of my life. Peace begins in ourselves, so please use this music to help you remember who you really are - an expression of perfect love.
